Go Autonomous unleashes next-gen AI with the power of Gefion

Go Autonomous used Gefion to train their first multimodal AI model, unlocking real-time automation of complex, email-based transactions.
For many B2B companies, email is still the largest sales channel—yet one of the most manual. At Go Autonomous, a Copenhagen-based AI company, the team set out to change that by building machine learning models that can turn slow, email-based transactions into real-time processes. But to get there, they needed more than algorithms—they needed serious compute power.
That’s where Gefion, Denmark’s national AI supercomputer, came in.
“We needed infrastructure to train a multimodal model on a foundational level—and that’s where Gefion became the perfect partner,” says Bjarke Ruse Sejersen, CEO of Go Autonomous.
While fine-tuning existing models had served the company well, they knew it would only take them so far. “You hit a ceiling, Bjarke explains and continues: “But being able to train our own model with domain specific data, the results have been transformative.
The newly trained model delivers a level of automation and insight that wasn’t previously possible. It enables Go Autonomous to extract, interpret, and act on complex information buried in emails and attachments—turning a 48-hour manual process into an almost real-time transaction.
“This is the first time we trained our own model—and we’re already outperforming every existing model out there.”
But it’s not just the model that matters—it’s what this unlocks strategically for the company.
“It’s changing our trajectory.” Bjarke notes.
The training process itself was smooth. From security compliance to remote access, the setup with Gefion enabled the team to scale without disruption.
“Honestly, it was a seamless experience. The infrastructure was powerful—and the competencies around it made a huge difference,” Bjarke Ruse Sejersen says.
From the Gefion perspective, this is exactly what the supercomputer was built for.
“Supporting ambitious Danish companies like Go Autonomous is core to Gefion’s mission,” says Nadia Carlsten, CEO of the Danish Centre for AI Innovation, which operates Gefion. “We’re here to make sure cutting-edge compute power is available to those who can turn it into real-world innovation—and Go Autonomous is doing just that.”
With a team of 60 people in Copenhagen, Go Autonomous is now playing in what their CEO calls the “Super League of companies working with AI and agents.” And they’re not stopping.
“We’ll train more models, develop new capabilities—and push the boundaries of what our solutions can do. I’m incredibly proud that a Danish company can operate at this level.”
